Two of my favorite type of glass are bowls and candle holders and a console set is just about perfect. Fostoria Glass made console bowls and candle holders in all sorts of shapes and decorated with beautiful etches.
The console bowl here is Fostoria Chintz with extended wing handles. It is oval and lovely.
It looks great with these candle holders. These are Chintz etched Baroque with the wings on both sides of the stem. Gorgeous!
Here’s another console bowl that is one of my favorites. This is the simplest style, no handles, just beautifully flared with the Baroque fleur de lis.
We show four candle holder styles and a third bowl in the video, but let’s end with this uncommon Chintz candle holder. The other styles are all from the Baroque line – they have the flared wings – but this one is the Sonata blank. It is appealing, simple and contemporary.
