Last weekend I had fun setting the table for different looks including this all green dinner set starring Cameo green depression glass. It turned out well enough that I took a quick video plus the photos.
Hocking Glass made so many beautiful pieces of Cameo green depression glass it is a great depression glass pattern to collect. You can have a lot of fun setting a table for lunch or dinner with friends.
Watch the video to see different styles of cups and enjoy seeing serving bowls and sugar on our table. Depression glass is a great collectible. It combines memories, beauty, American vintage craftsmanship with utility.
You can spot Cameo depression glass by the raised design of a lady dancing with scarves that is surrounded by scrolls and swags. The dancer is modeled on Isidora Duncan who founded modern dance.
Cameo is true depression glass, mass produced in green and yellow and a few pieces of pink and clear. Our table setting uses green grill plates, tumblers, cups and saucers plus a couple serving pieces. My mom embroidered the tablecloth by hand in the 1960s and I love using it with vintage glass and china.
